Dunloy at a low ebb
After last year’s heart breaking final, Dunloy found the same outcome again. They were second best again and went down to Newtonshandrum with a 0-17 to 1-6 score
Dominic McKinley has quit as the manager of the Derry senior hurling team-and this time it is for good. McKinley walked out in disgust at the start of the year when only 10 players attended the first training session. He was persuaded to return shortly after but it has appeared that the players have not kept their word and so he has left…this time for good.
Dungannon take it as red for MacRory glory
Only two points separated these teams coming into the last few minutes, but the St Patrick’s fans were on the sidelines waiting to join in the celebrations and their confidence was justified as they beat St McCartan’s, Monaghan 0-8 to 0-6.
